Unusually, I grew up playing under the Gothic vaulted arches of a 12th Century Abbey,

Heraldic glass casting colourful shadows, stone that held centuries of light and wear.  On reflection, it shapes many things - the way I see pattern, the pull I feel towards bold, architectural form and a comfort in a kalaidoscopic aesthetic of contemporary and past. Then, San Francisco: Art school, Pacific colour, an imagination turned to old world glamour, precious metals handled for the first time and the realised potential for jewellery to connect me to people and their stories. Between these lives I see some of the journey to the work I make today.

After a degree in English and Psychology at Newcastle University, I went on to study on a Masters program in Fine Art at the Academy of Art in San Francisco where I began exploring metal and trained as a goldsmith at the Revere Academy. I returned to London in 2007, and spent several years working alongside first Scott Wilson and after Solange Azagury-Partridge before starting on my own journey.

Today I work between Hatton Garden and Camberwell — a fine jeweller and a romantic, still drawn to pattern, ornament, and the places where beauty, connection and meaning meet.

My bespoke designs are an alchemy: bold, distinctive shapes balanced with elegant pattern, fine and unique gemstones, and exacting craftsmanship. The detail and intrinsic quality of each piece are paramount - always held in tandem with the character and sentiment that defines everything I make. I specialise in unique rings and gestures of affection. Each commission is a collaboration beginning with your inspiration, your tastes, your stories.
